Holiday Begins!

So, holiday begins? begins lah sangat.

The real thing is, it's not really like that. i meant, as a student, i'll never get the chance to stop learning, in which, i don't really mind because i'm so used to it.
so, here we go. My first day in British Council. Hahaha. Tell me about it. In what occasion, does a first day is an interesting one? hahaha, yap, you got the idea. it was not that fun anyways.

This holiday course i'm taking, is actually, well, in my opinion, i think the aim is to teach us students to be more confident, be brave to speak out, even though you got all your grammars upside down, but it's never mind. you just have to speak out.
the way they thought us, was like, the situation there in a classroom, in England. lets say. have you guys ever watch the English movies? just observe in a minute, how are the students in the class. they are like, you know, can freely speak out their thoughts, their opinions, what do they think about something, what do they feel, an etc.

So, in british council here, oh by the way my teacher's name is Emma and she is 36 years old and had traveled to 52 countries in the world, she taught us to be more, like, expressing our thoughts. she'll ask us why, she will question us a lot of things, and yes, we have to brainstorm all that. it was quite fun during the first day, but boring at the same time because we were all shy, and yap, did not know each other yet. By the way, there are 20 of us in the classroom, consists of 5 Malays, 2 Indians, 1 Korean boy and others are chinese. but never mind, i'm starting to like them. Especially meet my new friend here named Kevin who is only 16 years old but looks like he is the same age as me. In fact, i tell you this, although i am one of the eldest students there, but we all look the same. exactly. some are tall and even look maturer than i am. hell fun guys, hahha!

Soo...what we did yesterday was, our topic was on bullying. but before that, Emma explained to us about the Glees. do you know what is Glee? well, i didn't know at first what the hell it is all about, but basically, i can conclude that Glee, is like the High School Musical. well, sort of. because they form a musical band in the series. and the series is about the topics like bullying, drugs, sex, or anything that relates to teenagers. yeah, so our first topic was on bullying.

bla3, she was explaining about the characters you know. and i was like, 'what the hell are we doing in here? i'm not here to study about glee, i'm here to study english!'
haha, yeah, that was my first thought. but what she was doing actually was, teaching us the vocabulary, but not in a direct way like, "oh yeah, today we are going to learn about the word "precious" for example. but the way she did it, she included all that sort of things, into a discussion. she would ask us questions like, "look at the pictures. what do you think he looks like? what do you think he's thinking? what does he feel right now?" yeah2, things went like that pals...

Other than that, we also had somewhat discussion among ourselves. we had to discuss about, how's bullying in our school, who's the bullier, unpopular or the popular ones, why are they popular, what should we do to overcome this matter...all KBKKs you know! sadly in Malaysia our education has just begun that way. so, it was a lot of fun to know experiences from other friends. like in our area, i'll say that the bulliers are the not-so-smart students, but top students won't bully or being bullied by them. we'll just ignore such persons. but in KL, haha, very funny. the top students bullied the not-so-smart ones. and other reasons why things like bullies happened; because of money. Rich people are the bulliers. haha, so many things i gained yesterday...

so, although in the beginning it was not that fun, but i think i'm gonna like it. like today's topic is about alcohol and drugs. and i love to know about Emma and my friends' experiences. want to know what? :) stay tuned...

Life was better when you came

Life was better when you came. But right now, everything goes so wrong. It doesn't get any better since you took the path to part ways. I know by heart. That you are determined enough on your decision last time. You didn't say it, you just don't have to.

Let me tell you something.

I've changed my mind.

Hello there!

This is my OLD blog. Re-decorate everything. :)

Caldera 2

Something woke up her. Olive was poking her belly with her elbow. Caldera yelled in pain and Olive hushed her. Caldera wake up, rubbed her eyes, stretching her arms in the air. Then, she stared outside the window. Nothing could be more preciously as what as she had saw.
Before long the cleared ground ended, the forest crowded in close. Tall trees were everywhere, greener as her eyes, and the sunset was falling down, like her own blond- gold yellow hairs. It’s beautiful and there were moments when Caldera felt freed of some heaviness released from her old, narrowed life and launched into something new. An adventure!
The adventures will start soon, Caldera knew it.
“Here we go,” Olive said and picked up her knapsack and hang it on her shoulder.
      “Are we here?” Caldera asked.
“Yes, we are, sweetie. Come, let’s go!” Olive said to her.
Caldera knew that already. She felt the bus stopped moving and the folks started making noises. They were really in the forest.
Olive seems to be reading her mind, said,”we’re going up the hills. The camp site is….there, over there. See the flag? That’s it,” she pointed out of the window towards a tall hill beyond the woods.
Caldera followed her finger and said,”Looks too far for us,”
Olive shrugged. Well, it’s really too far.
“How long have I sleep?” Caldera wanted to know.
“Umm….about an hour after I wake up,” Olive said with another shrugged.
“That must be so long,” Caldera grinned.
They picked up their stuffs, and their things they brought for the camp. Caldera hangs her little knapsack around her shoulder.
       “Ready to go?” Olive asked.
       “Ready!!”
When all of them were outside of the bus, another bus arrived followed by the third one. Each bus carried more than 20 people including 20 students and some supervisors. All of them, gathered around and looking so sleepy. Caldera saw all the tired faces around her, more nor less like zombies. Must be a long journey, Caldera thought.
“All right guys!” a hoarse voice came. “Make 12 lines, starting from my right,” Mr. Parker, the chief supervisor among all supervisors was ordering the students. “And hurry up, the day is getting dark,” he said again and all the supervisors were helping the students to get the orders.
Caldera sat in the same line as Olive. Her bags were so cumbrous, only her knapsack was lighter. Ryan, Caldera saw, was sitting in the two lines beside them, with Owen and the three other boys who have the similar face; same body shapes but different clothes. Their hairs were dark-brown, their eyes were slightly grey and they were five foots tall, taller as Ryan and Owen. Jade Brown, was the oldest, Caldera knew him by his long hair, wore a blue jacket and he seems to be taller than his brothers. Behind him was Jack, the second, who was looking so tired and his grey jacket was unbutton to reveal his completely hairless chest and the third one should be the youngest and the cutest among the three of them, James. They were cute-triplets. All of them look so tanned, except for Owen. He was childish.
The supervisors divided the students into twelve groups. Mr. Parker, the chief of all the supervisors, ordered them to stay in their group based on his commands. All the students had to obey him, or they will suffer the whole camp, based on what he taught them.
Caldera was in the eighth group while Olive was in the second group, with Ryan. Caldera felt so terrific especially when Owen was in the same group as hers. Caldera dislikes Owen, easy to tell.

Caldera

Caldera looked across the sky to the wood beyond, admiring. Mist lay heavy in the air, thick as cream where it scudded across the ground, dissolving to a thin smoking haze higher up. Caldera could feel its coldness although she wore a thick sweater tightly around her. She knew something that was clearly in her mind, the forest would be so cold during the night.
And there she was, in a trip bus, headed to their camp site which in the woods, at the top of hills, with Olive beside her. Caldera holds her hands tightly. A clock of feared suddenly faded her chest. She tried to comfort herself, imagined the beautiful forest, the ocean-blue sky with the beautiful scenery of flora and fauna and the good time she will spent with her friends, especially Ryan Robertson.
She saw Olive, still snored like a little baby beside her.  Olive still held the little I-pod which her father bought for her on her 16th birthday last month and the ear-phone was still in her ears. Likely she was dreaming of something sweet.
Caldera turned her head at the back, wondered what Ryan was doing. The cold air in the bus chills her neck and grows in her spine. Caldera wrapped her sweater, tightly around her. Luckily she wore that before the long journey start. Ryan, she saw, wore a sky-blue leather jacket, crossing his arms and his eyes were closed. He was gently sleeping. Beside him was Owen Matthew, who was sitting next the window, still looked energize. He was staring outside the window. Perhaps, thinking the same thing as Caldera. Caldera saw, his red-gold hair fell on his brow, and he swept it back using the back of his hand. As he turned, something catches Caldera’s eyes and their eyes met that moment. Caldera felt something strange and quickly took away her gazed from those lads. She was afraid to meet those green eyes of his.
Her heart thumped loudly. She knew she needed a rest. And so, she leaned her head slowly on the chairs. Her eyelids started to be so heavy and heavier and heavier every minute goes. Caldera gasped a long breath of the cool air until she could only see the darkness. And yet, she was asleep.
The bus was so calm, no noise and Caldera was dreaming.
